When will sponsors have access to the Beta?

To be completely honest. I don't know and I'm probably the only one that is gonna respond to you.

Release schedule is Demo - Beta - Full Release.


Demo and Beta FIRST go to testers. Then to VIPs/Sponsors.

My opinion may not mean anything, but being a staff member when these guys actually donated money to IA2, I honestly think the sponsors should be given first access. It just seems right. I mean, why not? What's the harm?

I agree... I feel bad for them, they don't even get any information.

The problem is leakage. Testers ARE staff. We cant hand out un-tested Betas. However, VIPS will get access before the public will.

Every staff member who contributed to the mod will be properly credited and HONORED!. Honestly though Windu I think we are using maybe a handful of items made by you guys.

I think thats about it.. I have a full list we made up a few months back I would have to consult but thats about it. As for Betas, we actually had a discussion about this before Bryant went missing. We all agreed that we didnt want to hand out Unpolished betas to anyone. As for leakage. We have 4 Staff. Myself, Bex, DNG, and BLY. Both Bly and DNG signed NDA's. Are we gonna get all these VIPs to sign NDAs? We worry very much about leakage. They will have a playable demo before anyone else... and full beta before the public gets it. Thats a pretty good thing if you ask me.


Windu, your more than welcome to a Alpha of the mod but you would have to sign the same NDA that the rest of the team signed. No offense. I dont know you from Adam, so I am loathe to just go tossing around all the work we put into into this. I have put a MEGA amount of time into this, and dont want to see MY or anyone else content created for this mod showing up in someone else mod until AFTER the mod is released. Well I am saddened now I was told when I became I sponsor repeatably I was told that I would get first access to the beta, but I guess things have changed with staff. Shouldn't be surprised I also was given staff level access to the progress of the mod and discussion, and that's been gone for months since no one posts in the forum they used to discuss those things anymore. I am going to say that I became a sponsor as an investment to a very good looking mod, and now I am feeling a little ripped off, well teaches me to donate to projects in the future. As for "leakage" I haven't leaked a single thing I was given in the past many of which never was made public, and that you don't trust me now is very sad indeed.

You can keep my release to that of the general public then.
