I disagree. BioWare is as muchto blame for the quality of their games. They are certainly a big enough studio that they have creative and negotiating power. EA is no saint, that is for certain, but they are the scapegoat when the game's flaws come partly from the game itself.

So, the extended cut cleans up a lot of issues.

I actually bought Mass Effect but I keep forgetting to play it xP I better do that before I go to college and don't have the 360.

The California Condor is on the verge of extinction. It is also very ugly. No one cares.

My thoughts exactly. I think Bioware just couldn't deliver on on all their promises.

The EC was good. Problem is the endings core is still pretty rotten. The epilogue scenes are a nice touch though.

The true underlying problem with Mass Effect 3 is the fact that it's too much action and too little RPG. Don't get me wrong, I loved the action and it really made me feel as if it were a warzone. But, ME3 came up short in what Mass Effect 2 did so superbly. I felt that the game was just paragon biased, and even if I responded as a renegade it was still pretty bland. I think the only renegade outcome that was fun was when I punched the Quarian Admiral, but other than that then it really was just boring to be a renegade. In Mass Effect 2, I swear I could have seen my character be exactly like Riddick, but now those elements are gone. The game itself is still great, but ME3 comes up short in comparison to its predecessors

Well sequals will do that to you wont they :( though you would think if they planned this as a 3 part story arc they would have planned it out to end sensibly.

Well TBH, the blame can't go entirely on Bioware. We all know that EA is evil and will do everything to squeeze every penny of DLC possible out of Mass Effect. The endings probably were a result of a push by EA to get the game out, which I guess we all know happened in KOTOR II. But, there won't be anymore more changes. There may be DLC that adds new endings, but the underlying endings will not change anymore >_<

I disagree. BioWare is going down the same road that Bethesda did, slowly but surely...they could have easily gone with another publisher had EA not agreed to their demands. EA can push around little studios, but BioWare is large enough to have its own say. More money means more TOR, and remember, EA is not connected to that at all.

Not that I am making excuses for EA, but just because EA is felt to be evil does not mean that BioWare should be able to sit blame on EA's shoulders.

And I felt that ME2 completely did away with RPG features, myself. ME1 had them in good amount, and then ME2 attempted to be shooter with RPG elements that just...well, didn't work.

I fail to see how ME2 did away with RPG features when you could be a badass or a hero and actually feel good.

That might be the most plausible thing you've said in months.

ME3 was just fine, for me. I freaking loved it.
