I just downloaded Steam, and now I see they have a bunch of games.

I can only play free ones.

Though I am currently in the process of downloading Alien Swarm.

EDIT: I bought NTW and it came with Steam and I happened to find Portal free and I was able to keep it forever im on like Test Chamber 16 or somthing the one after Turrets are intoduced

Im the same way. I got NTW and that why I have steam, I dont realy use it much though

I dont use it to often either. I just got NTW and found portal free, I do however do the free weekend limmited time offers but you dont get to keep the game,
