i get all sad when i see this cuz it used to be all lively and now we have to have a topic in the news devoted tochat so everyone can see it. but yes i havent been helping lately, as i have been silent for a fairly long time. ive been pretty damn busy with work-first job, and its pretty tiring imo, academics, college preparation stuff, tests, and catching up with my friends. but im back now ! doesn't seem like i missed much though..have a lot of new members been sayin anything of note?

yeah, I've been busy with my job and stuff. I still check in once every couple days or so. I remember when I was checking this place 4-8 times a day looking for new updates.

sorry but there is nothing to talk about, if you want us to talk give us something to talk about. I don't care how small it is, it can be some more ingame shots, or even videos of testing, give us anything

that is false there is always something to talk about, including past updates and speculation on any changes to old things. but it gets harder because the clone wars tv show keeps adding stuff and more models keep coming out, and RaW is being updated to that too, i.e. malevolence .

and u can always check out the moddb site, they sometimes get updates and screenshots before we do

I to behonest don't care about the new stuff because i have actualy been watching this mod for 4 years and just want to see it out, there can be patches for the new stuff, i think they should be trying to get it out before more people move on and will there be a campaign or are they skipping that

if your reading this z remember that there are patches and updates if new stuff comes up just update, the mod has already serpassed all other modes about the clone wars so please remember that if you release something you can update it
and z please dont leave us in the dark, no matter how small of an update it will be appretiated greatly

Tbh, i have nothing to give. Last i heard Z was the only one working on the mod anymore and refuses to accept anymore help. He's doing this alone and i receive no information. Yes i did when it was Bex and Bryant. But that's not the case here as RaW is in charge now. Sorry guys I'm just being honest here and i would at least like to salvage this community.

also i think z is just paranoid about getting files stolen. he could just give the other modders pieces of the mod that couldn't be used because of the size, and keep the master copy for him self. Like the manhatten project hundreds of workers only had a piece that can't be used alone

amen. and yea EVERYBODY who joins says they have been watching for a while...i think i did htat too, except i said something along the lines of i havent been watchin it as long as everyone else says they have been, but i have been watching for 2-4 months before i joined. either way its a trend that is amusing to watch.

You are most certainly not. With how scarce you have made yourself lately, I'd say you were cowering in your cabin, or fled with an escape pod as soon as possible. No, wait, thats not true. You ARE helping, but not nearly as much as you could. So I'd say that instead of standing with me and spitting out order after order, you are doing some repairing and occasionally some janitor work. Sorry, but thats the truth.
Now no-one can deny that I have been standing on the bridge, barking out directions and orders in order to preserve the ship for as long as possible, but I cant do it alone guys.

Commander Republic21, status report.

Our battleship is a VENATOR, you know... or at least it used to be... until it turned into a smoking piece of space junk...

The turbolasers of a stagnant community had been weakening our shields for years, though the killing blow on the hull itself was delivered by the proton torpedo of Z's arrogance.

I think me and Republic are the two prime leaders here, Republic with the most posts, and me with being here for a long time, and we both have a good sense of leadership...

If I may interject, with all due respect, I do not believe post count is indicative of leadership ability. I respect that you guys are active in the community, completely - but saying that someone has been here "trying to save the community" more than someone else or "who was at the bridge" does not help, no one can deny that anyone posting now loves the game and the community and the mod. Nor does it help to attack Alpha, who is fan of the mod just like the rest of us. I honestly think that working together in this situation is the best option. We all feel the same way - that we love the mod, and that we will do whatever we can to help the community, so let's stop the squabbling, yes?

To introduce myself however: yes, I was a lurker before I joined (I joined specifically for the "clip" of the trailer that members got to see a while back) and found the mod maybe six months after things began to change, and the mod became silent for a while. (lDecember 2007 I think is when I found it, I joined officially in December 2008).

It's not just post count dude, but how much you are active that determines leadership.

Well, I'm definitely on the bridge somewhere. I mean, who manages all of our scriptures? (fanfics) Maybe not all of them, but I certainly have lent a helping hand in a good few of them.

I'd say I'm flying it. I'm here, but you really just don't notice me, and my presence isn't always really too announced. I may not be out in the open, but I am helping keep things steady.

Republic, it's pretty gutsy of you to claim that I do Janitor work while you're the Commander. Almost Arrogant.

heh... sorry, it just felt depressing listening to analogies of burning ships, civilizations falling, and generally the end of the universe if this mod fails. So my speech was probably more to help me than you guys. (here's to hoping I don't get flamed for this post ) And yes, I tend to be a lurker, although I have been around for some time now... Now if you'll excuse me, I must dig up my copy of FOC and remember the pleasure of RTS gaming.

I would think Daru is on the bridge. Without his help I would have stopped writing my fanfic long ago, no one would have started writing fanfics if it werent for Remainder and now Shattered Republic, and where would the Fruit Wars be without him? Do not answer those question because I do not want to start a war over who is on the bridge of the burning Venator and who is not lol.

Yeah, I'd say Daru is flying the ship, me and Republic both command the ship while Venator IS the ship...

Never thought about it that way- but I have been told I was an inspiration once or twice.

Also, if it weren't for me, Fruit Wars would basically still be Fruit Wars II.

where was i? i was on kashyyyk firing my particle cannons at a trade federation cruiser that was landing, when my position was overrun by droids. so iwas MIA for a while, but mysteriously turned up again, unbeknownst to walon vau.

Heh. Daru/Anon (meh) , the character has always been a pilot. Ever since I was a little kid, I wanted to be a starfighter pilot. My heart was broken when I learned that didn't exist. Then, I learned of airplanes. I wanted to fly them, too. However, I'm just too big, too tall. 6'4 dudes don't fit very well into planes, and the only way I'll ever be a pilot is as a Helicopter pilot; which would totally be good enough for me.

That, and in video games, I've always been the best pilot around. In Rogue Squadron, I was a total beast in the cockpit, and even in Halo I'm pretty damned good. Played Battlefront II for a short time online once and I won that battle. No matter what, when a flyable vehicle is available, I always take it because that's just how I roll.

I am a pilot at heart.

So rest easy, for while I am at the helm of this great Starship, I will not crash it into any Asteroid fields, moons, or anything else of that type. It'll be safe with me flying it around this vast Galaxy of ours.

CHEERS to pilots man, im a pretty darn good pilot myself. i remember breezin through rogue squadron ii, and beating the starfox games in a heartbeat. and in bfII multiplayer space battles, i believe ive only lost once, and that was to my cousin. the probelm is idont know how many ive played.

Well, I believe I am the Captain, Dwedge is like the admiral, Republic is a Colonel or something like dat...

Republic is more like a Commander. He's certainly got a place on the bridge of the ship.
