Has anyone talked to Z recently? I wish he would say if he was still alive at least once a month instead of disappearing for months until we finally get a update. Anyone talked to him within this month?

Edit: Well I found a couple of his post on the RAW site from 3/30/10 but it was only answering some little question about a rifle for clonetroopers. I wish he would post a little bit more often on here though.

He's one of the few people who are still working on this mod, and yet he isn't accepting help

I'm guessing hes only trust himself to give out quality stuff? Who knows.

It makes it even worse that he's doing it on his own-he keeps coming with new little ideas that he works in integrate. And, with Z's amazing work ethic (he seems to be a perfectionist to me-everything he does he works through intricately), it takes a long time to put in all the new stuff.

I personally think he should all the cool little gooies into downloadable expansion or addon packs. They're extremely cool, but Z is working too hard integrating them into the mod. I certainly do not wish to rush him, but this mod's been in development longer than the game was....


That being said, I support whatever desicion Z comes to, and am extremely grateful for all of his hard work.

I think he DOES over-work himself.

Johnathan is a pretty good Coder, maybe he could use J's help. I can't do much in the EAW department- but I CAN find accurate reference material to both scale and everything, and small details.

Y'know. Like the BARC Speeder's engine in the back that doesn't actually exist, yet does in Z's model.

There's alot of attention to detail, but some things get neglected- I have noticed.

I've sometimes feared Z's " I will do everything myself I gonna do it perfectly and no one else is getting credit for it not to mention I trust nobody" policy may bring about RaW's doom.


He rejected Johnathon !!! A capable and enthusiastic person, who would have devoted time and effort to this mod.

Z is strange person. Its a mystery why he does what he does.

He may be the last thing actually holding RAW up, but that policy is going to kill it.

He's an older man with a life, who, frankly, should be living it a little more, and let the kids that want it so bad, work on it. Johnathan would be a wonderful contributor.

EaW and FoC are already uninstalled from my PC ... maybe permanently.

At my age I should be actually working in a company and thinking about family, not playing games.

What about Z then ? I suggest he either releases it quickly, or leaves the mod to the young modders.

It is his life and we shouldnt be criticizing it. If he wants to make mods for teh rest of his life than let him. It is none of our concern

Agreed. It's his mod in the end, and I'm happy he's doing anything at all. I do still want to see it, though.
