Some of you may have noticed I returned to modding on EaW files. Well I bring my latest release here. It is nothing big compared to my old ones, but it is definately worth playing. I guarantee. I also have made an EaW version which is noted in the description. While not being huge and spectacular like RotM or GaW, it does enhance the game as much as possible that the stock models can handle though. Try it out! Link

Aw, damnit. That looks fun but I lost my copy of FoC... AGAIN...

On another note- you still need to adjust the scale of the units.

my guess is size. the tie bombers and fighters looked big compared to the venator in one pic

Okay guys, your prayers have been answered. I have rescaled the fighters to a more realistic size in this update

I am downloading now. Do you have any good suggestions for tutorials on adding in new units? I have the models, and I've followed what tutorials I 've found, but I can't seem to get the units to appear. Even when i just copy and paste the unit code from another similar unit and just change the model. Or even when I have the code with the unit! They just don't show up!

And, just out of curiousity, why did you give the Venator to the rebels, and not the empire? The empire would be using old Republic tech, no?

Nope. It's out-dated.

yeah AK, I had some trouble when I started too, but I didn't use tutorials. When I started I just stayed with simple coding modifications. Also, 1.0 and 1.5 give the Venator to the Empire at Tech 1, and 1.5 gives the republic skinned one to the rebels.

Alright guys, I am going large next version. I am going to see if I can add in that Galaxy Mod with the correct positions of like 184 total planets or something. I also have a planned list of changes already, it's better for me to plan ahead then decide which I can keep and which is not necessary. So far here it is. I am going to have to ask permission from many authors for models, skins and stuff, but here is what I plan to add:

I feel as if I know someone famous. Is there a planet where the CIS products are buildable for all sides? I love little additions like that.....a few planets with a couple of unique surprises. I always thought Carida, with the Stormtrooper Academy, or Anaxes, with the Citadel, could use some special Imperial land units. Mon Calamari and Sullust could have a few Rebel surprises, Nal Nutta or Tatooine for the Underworld, and Kuat or Byss for the Empire.


Sorry....I get carried away sometimes. Do you take requests? I would never want to add to your already considerable workload, though.

Well it has some of my ideas yes, but no I did not put anything in it. Right now I'm dormant in the mod as I am at a frusterating stand still

No, I was going to rejoin with the Old EMG by May 26 but apparently it faded. Right now I am kinda focused on other things and I will get back to work on it soon. With new models out I believe it will be more enjoyable.

In fact, after this mod, I may consider doing a Kotor Mod.

Johnathon, what exactly was the problem?

I was attempting to integrate the Galaxy mod, from catstone which has all the planets in their correct postions with amazing maps into this mod. I have a backup file for it, and I was testing it out to see if it was compatible. No I have not asked permission yet since I am testing to see if I wanted to use it or not, since it would take twice as long to map and code a new galaxy. However, the Old Campaign will have a hard time integrating due to planet positions. I am trying to plan out how I can reconfigure it, but I bet it will take a lot of reconfiguration to integrate it back in. So far I have made no progress, and right now I am getting too addicted to Star Trek Online tongue.gif

No rush, just curious if I could help. Unfortunately, I can't even code in a new ship.

But I do know how hard modding is-I mod Fallout 3 (considerably easier with an editor available) and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and BFME (mostly text editing, but boy is it a pain in the ass sometimes). I'd give alot for all programs to have bug reports like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. does.

Have you contacted the author yet? Whether or not you use his map, he may know you can integrate it. From what I hear, TheFarseer likes helping out fellow modders-perhaps he could help?

Yeah, I get distracted all the time. The hardest part is when it actually feels like work rather than play.

yeah, I'm taking a math placement test to see if I can do geometry or algebra, although I am taking algebra this year as an 8th Grader it is good to master a course, especially since I haven't gotten to the 2nd semester of Algebra yet.

When I mod, I do it when I am in the mood or feel bored. When I lose the mood I lose interest, but I am trying to get my lazy ass to work tongue.gif

It is so easy to take Algebra again in 9th grade if you did in 8th. plus if you didnt understand some things when you first went over it you usually understand it the next time. Took Honors Algebra 8th grade, made the mark to go to geometry, decided to take Algebra to master the course.
