Does anyone know where the sounds will be coming from yet? Will they simply be taken from the movies or perhaps from past games? I'm just curious. When I click on a group of battle droids for the first time, it would be quite awesome to hear the signature voice.

A lot of the movie sounds need to be isolated into sound clips. You could easily take some from other games though (I know there's a collection from SWGB)

i know z wanted to record the sound himself but now i think he will cut them out of the movies. It is very simple just buy a star wars movie 5.1 and only record the speaker box

Is it illegial to take sounds from one game and put it in another? I heard about a mod that did that and they got shut down cuz of it (i dont rember what it was for, it was a while ago)

I think he'll take sounds from many diffrent places. Movies, games other mods etc.

And it's entirely likely that the sources of the sounds will be basically, for all it's worth, "Classified."
