dont know bout u but im anoyed with mods were u only get galctic conquest, after all u dont allways wont to start from sctrach. sometimes u just wont to play one on one in a single but satisfying bout. sure galctic coquests good. just go the extra mile.
cos then that way u can pit the republic against the empire in a kind of cross era battle to see what era would win in an actual battle
even if the skirmish simply adds the republic and the cis to existing skirmish maps

everything could go the extra mile and sometimes its best to do that to satisfy, also mate use proper text when speaking write "u" as you it makes life a lot easier for non english speakers

fair point just thought it would be a nice extra feature even if it is only with existing skirmish maps. appart from that i think IA2 is doing a great job, best mod ive seen so far keep up the good work
ill propably sort out that language thing at some point

First off that was off topic and secondly I think they are doing skirmish since RaW and IA2 are multiplayer skirmish compatible

Yea, skirmish is one of the main reasons you play as that actually has tactics (love making great, unique, balanced, good background, and no uber spam of mines/background/free units space maps), but I do play GC solely so I can get those top tier ships in a battle. Problem with EaW/FoC is that the AI just sucks too much to be a challenge once you have those/unless it cheats and gets free top tier units, and even then I can kill it without losing mine (mainly since top tier ships usually are large and the engine has trouble pathing large ships, seriously, IA:II better scale down things or find a solution to the pathing issues), and then in multiplayer, given how long it takes to build units, if one side loses their top ship/fleet, the game is pretty much over, so its a one decisive battle for 4-5 hours of play, not worth it.

Yes skirmish is awsome but somtimes I like to pressure myself by sending a small fleet (ex. 2 munifucent frigates and 10 vulture droids yes this is z3r0x 3.5) to capture the space portion of the map and an MTT with 2 ATT squads and 1 halfire squad. Skirmish is fun especially in multiplayer where I finally lost a battle.
P.S. I hope the AI in this mod doesn't spam (hated the 12 bomber suads and 2 fighter squads)

hehe i liked thoose attacks cus then u had to send home all fleets and patrols to the station and defend but it got over pretty quick

i know what u mean hard ai is a pretty ''get a small fleet early then attack'' so u have to have a good defence in the beginning

I played Z3r0x more often so I hade way more than 18 TIE fighters and 8 bombers to defend me I basically had my own hidden fleet and an orbital defense platform.
GOLANS are AWSOME.

I love playing Galactic Qonquest offline and Skirmish online cause it's more entertaining that way
I must agree with the AI theme, as it is completely dumb! id like it more if you could make the AI more intelligent, like the AI-Easy attacking all the time, while AI-Hard waiting for the right time to give the attack signal. I think it would be a lot more better if it was that way.

But have they easy eairly attacks be like 3 fighter squadrons 2 frigates and 1 bomber squadron. Later 2 caps 3 frigs. (hopfully enogh fighters/bombers come out of them) and on ground eairly lots of inf and heros late little inf heros lots veh

same here i also play GC offline and Skirmish online
The ai is currently built like
Easy Ai: suck balls getting small armies and attacking when they have gatherd the army
Medium Ai:Defensive they only care about mines and to protect the space station
Hard Ai: Attacks as soon as he got like 5 troops and sometimes gathering a big army

I reported him. Now back on topic... Ben, I would not really consider that a MOD per se. It only changes a very small amount of XML code, and does not add any units, or change the game content, only the difficulty.

Most mods will still have skirmish no matter what, because most arn't total conversion, the skirmish settings will be default FoC.
