Great Screenshots! But, is the lighting going to be like that when this mod is released?

It will most likely change.. we are tweaking things day in and day out..
most of the lasers will change.. and the lighing will fit what you see in the movies more closely. We are also redoing a few textures..

WOOHOO! Awesome! About time too... Love the new Acclamator...the background stars not so much...love the shiny metal of the lucrehulk and invisible hand...the coruscant clouds and lasers not so much...love coruscant...and the arc-170s...no doubt all the other stuff will be fixed so I´m not complaining ...love the new acclamator...keep the screenshots coming!

First of all, rise of the random screenshots! Also, well, I shouldn't even ask, but wil the ARC-170's have their own icon and not the X-wing's?

They already do.. but the controll bar file wasnt in the directory at the time..

Those Screens are awesome! I like the Munificent (that is the Banking Clan Frigate right?) it lloks sweet, i was wondering, are the ARC-170's in squadrons of 3?

I just hope the lighting though would be fixed so not everything looks like a shiny and bright yellow.
soo much detail! the lasers and stars don't look so nice though. Hope you redo them and that they get thinner (they look surprisingly too big zoomed in compared to the arc-170)
the big capital ship (sorry, I don't know its name at the top of my head) doesn't seem to have a engine glow though
it almost looks as good as in the movies. (that is comparing to new trilogy computer generated ones like the scene in Jango's signature.) but I guess if it were that detailed, no one would be able to download it.

I think the lighting is fine. IA2 aims for realism it seems; the ship's "yellow" appearance is the reflection of light from a source which is Coruscant.

well, the acclamator doesn't look natural at that level. I think if it were maybe a bit less like the venator in swgbex's signature, then it would be okay, but it seems too bright and single colored to me. (as in the only thing you can see is the yellow afterglow.) After all, in the movies, the battle above coruscant was a slight yellow/blue tint (as in jango fett's signature) and it was more opaque. actually everything that is custom looks okay in the lighting, though original in-game units don't look so.

also, are those black bits smoke from the unit or clouds?

Disreagard the color of the units... Im still tweaking the light as we speak.
The lighting conditions between swfans picutres and mine are completly different
Notice the Droid control ship and how it reflects light and shines compared to his.. The lighting was different. the staff alpha I uploaded had lighting conditions that were still being tweaked..

If you notice some of the fighters seem to have a lot of light coming from above them.. which kinda washes out the top with light. I have since dimmed that down a bit.
We are working on new textures on the coruscant map so that we dont have to play tricks with the lighting in order to get decent lighting.

I take it you're referring to the bluish haze that coruscant actually has?

There are a ton of tricks Im working on to get some nice atmospheric effects... None of them are working too well though.. =/ If I get something that looks good I might show it off..

And those puffs of smoke?
Flak bursts.. I went a little bit overboard on their lifetime and size.. heh
But after looking at them in a different way.. I may have use for those new particles in other places besides flak

Graphics is not a major problem with PC its the amount of RAM you have to Ram the C*** into the Graphics card

looks a bit like the hunchback from notre-damme. No offence i know he doesnt walk straight. Maybe give him his black coat to hide it a bit^^
but the clones look awsome. This mod is really an eye-opener! keep it going

Would it be possible to randomize the scorch marks on the skins of the clone troopers somewhat? Other than that looks good. (Why does Grievious look transparent? Assuming it is the angle)

stock laser = - - - - - - - - - - - - hit < like watching paint dry really

I just want to say that after seeing the venator cruiser showed off in all its ultra-cool 3D glory, my life is complete....... Oh! almost forgot, I have to play the game too! Then, as Yoda would say, completion my life will be. (I still have no idea why he talks like that, 900 years and he still can't speak proper English!)

First of great pics to both Bryant and z3r0x. I think everyone could see your giving this mod your all and it will be without a doubt the best mod ever.

Q: I have a question though but its not really related to the mod rather the star wars saga so if anyone can give me an answer it would be great.

When they fight the clone wars, and they fight on land do they fight all over the planet or in only for example one city or one plain and who wins takes the planet????

One more time I really love the pics. I think they give everyone another boost to keep waiting for its release!!!!!

Well really in the clones wars they fought all over the world, landing ACC and dropping off troops for certern hard targets (ie shield generators) but usely after they had completed there objectives, they converged onto one main area (ie:Base or landing area or both) like in the genosis battle the clone army converged onto the main control ship landing/docking area so once they got rid of those the CIS (sadly)started to fall all around the planet so they got the cleaning crews in (Clones)to see what was left then they moved on once it was, they did this for almost every planet in the Galaxy.
